Kieren Elsdon
Operations Director

Kieren is our Operations Director with specific responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of project design works. He trained as a mechanical engineer and has extensive experience in environmental design. Kieren joined the practice as an Associate Director in 2015, following roles at Sweco and BDSP (now Chapman BDSP), and he became Operations Director in 2021.

Kieren has extensive technical know-how, the ability to understand clients’ needs, and is adept at helping teams interpret and communicate complex solutions, ensuring attentiveness to each project’s specific requirements and aspirations. Overseeing the delivery of effective and sensitive designs, he ensures this is achieved with minimal disruption to the space and building aesthetic and always with its occupants in mind.

Kieren values a bespoke design approach, particularly in heritage and listed buildings, and leads the team in delivering high-quality building services strategies. Kieren has been involved in a wide range of projects throughout his career including the RIBA Stirling Prize nominated projects the London 2012 Velodrome and the Saw Swee Hock Student Centre at the London School of Economics. During his time at P3R he has headed up projects which have included conversions at Swindon Carriage Works and Keble College, works to listed buildings at the Central Criminal Court and Union Chapel, and new build developments at St Christopher’s Hospice, and Godolphin & Latymer School.
