This project comprised refurbishment of the existing 1930’s buildings, alongside an imaginative infill to create new rehearsal studios, classrooms and changing rooms, with a 3-storey atrium for circulation.
A hybrid ventilation system provides fresh air throughout, with heating coming from new air source heat pumps. Roof-mounted photovoltaics (PV) provide renewable energy, and overall the building achieves a BREEAM Excellent rating.
