Chelsea Brut

A 1960’s townhouse in South West London was thoughtfully extended and renovated into a modern, low energy home. The greatly improved energy performance was achieved through the use of insulation, natural stack ventilation via an automated skylight, air-source heat pump, and mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

The 2025 RIBA jury commended the project’s ‘deeply considered and consistently applied design philosophy, to create a more sustainable and healthy home’.
