Maison Colbert

A row of five early-1900s terraced houses were converted into a home, studio, and art gallery in Spitalfields, London, maintaining some of the buildings’ original features and including restoration of the Victorian shopfronts and facades.

Building services were exposed and expressed in the gallery spaces, but were discretely concealed in the residential interiors, designed by Buchanan Studio.
