The Sunday School Hall space in this Grade I listed building was originally intended to hold classes for children and families, as well as parties and other events. Burrell Foley Fischer Architects are designing the renovation and repair to make the hall a contemporary, multi-use community and cultural space, where an archive of the venue’s long history can also be held and accessed.

A new heat recovery mechanical ventilation system will be installed in the main hall, and the existing Victorian natural ventilation openings will be re-opened for use during periods of low occupancy.
